Day 1 New York, NY: Travel to our port in New York City on a deluxe Anderson Motorcoach. We are welcomed on board the Norwegian Escape Cruise Ship.
Day 2 At Sea: Experience all the ship has to offer as we sail the beautiful Atlantic Ocean. Welcome to a floating playground for all ages and stages. Day 3 Sydney, Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia: The coal industry brought immigration from many parts of the world, giving Sydney a multicultural mix of over 50 ethnic backgrounds and a global flavor to its history. Located on Cape Breton Island, Sydney is also an ideal jumping-off point for scenic adventures.
Day 4 Halifax, Nova Scotia, CN: Admire the rugged coastline that surrounds Halifax, the world's second-largest natural harbor. This beautifully preserved city is Nova Scotia's capital and was founded in 1749. Take steps through history and climb to The Citadel to witness the Old Town Clock.
Day 5 Portland, ME: Portland offers all the amenities of a big city: art districts, a vibrant waterfront, museums, parks and diverse shopping opportunities. But within minutes, you can be enjoying the view from an historic lighthouse or tasting a juicy, local lobster. Portlands heart is the lively Old Port of cobblestone streets and restored brick warehouses filled with shops, restaurants, cafes and bars. The districts working waterfront is where fishermen haul in the days catch.
Day 6 Boston, MA: Welcome to an American city where history truly does come to life. Be sure to visit Bunker Hill Monument, Paul Revere's House, the Old North Church, Quincy Market and the mansions of Beacon Hill. Then wander Boston Common, the oldest public park in the U.S.
Day 7 Newport, RI: In one of the nation's oldest towns, eat quahogs and clamcakes and wash them down with Dell's famous lemonade.This charming coastal city located on Aquidneck Island in Narragansett Bay. It is known for its picturesque harbor, Gilded Age mansions, and its vibrant sailing culture. During the 19th century, Newport served as the summer playground for the rich and famous. Residents displayed their fabulous wealth in the form of palatial estates overlooking the Atlantic. Today, these extraordinary and meticulously maintained homes line the city's famed "Mansion Row" and are a must-see for any visitor. Newport is a popular tourist destination, with its many beaches, restaurants, and attractions. It is also home to the Naval War College, the oldest institution of its kind in the United States.
Day 8 Home: After disembarking in New York City, travel home on an Anderson coach relaxed and invigorated from our cruise!
