Day 1 • Washington, D.C.: Enjoy a weekend in our nation’s capital to view the Yoshino cherry trees that surround the Tidal Basin along the National Mall changes yearly and with the weather but there are activities planned all month long.
Arrive this afternoon for free time at the Smithsonian Museums before dinner on your own at an area shopping center.
Day 2 • Home: We drop you off at the Franklin Delano Roosevelt Memorial this morning, right along the beautiful Tidal Basin. From here, you can around the basin and to the Martin Luther King Jr. and Thomas Jefferson memorials if you choose. You’re on your own all day to explore the monuments and museums as you please. Return home tonight from our spring getaway. (B)
