Day 1 Honolulu - Fly to Honolulu on the island of Oahu, one of the single most dreamed of vacation spots in the world. You'll be greeted with a fresh flower lei and escorted to your transportation to your hotel. (D)
Day 2 - North Shore & Dole Plantation Adventure - This morning we will board our deluxe vehicle to start our adventure with a narrated tour along the eastern shores with a scenic stop at Halona Blowhole and views of Makapu'u Lookout. We continue along the Koolau Mountains from the tropical Windward side of O'ahu and cut thru the center of the island with a stop at the Nuuanu Pali Lookout, a site of historical significance. The we are off to the Dole Pineapple Plantation! Discover Oahu's pineapple heritage at the visitors center. After we continue our drive to the North Shore of Oahu where surfing daredevils gather from around the world to compete in riding the monster waves that are often taller than most buildings. Enroute stop at the local surfer village Haleiwa Town - this historical place retains the feel of the old style of Hawaii and offers a variety of restaurants, surf shops, clothing stores, and the famous "shave ice" stands. We will continue our drive along the coast and return to the hotel where youll have an evening at leisure to enjoy one of the delicious restaurants in Waikiki. (B)
Day 3 Pearl Harbor and Historical Honolulu - This morning well make the trip to Pearl Harbor. The USS Arizona Memorial, along with the other memorials and historical sites that make up Pearl Harbor, supplies an overview of the lead up to World War II and its impact on Hawaii. Then, visit the National Memorial of the Pacific, also known as Punchbowl Crater, final resting place of those who served in our armed forces. From there its a short drive to downtown Honolulu, capital of Hawaii. It is the site of Iolani Palace, the only royal palace in America, which housed Hawaiian rulers. Well also see King Kamehameha statue, the Hawaii State Capitol building, Hawaii Mission Houses and Kawaiahao Church. (B, L, D)
Day 4 Hawai'i Island - Fly to Hilo on Hawaii Island also known as the Big Island. Discover the natural beauty and the volcanic excitement of Hawaii on our full day of a Big Island Adventure, it transports you from lush tropical rain forests to Volcanoes National Park on a full day trip. Upon arrival, we will tour the quaint and historic town of Hilo then experience the awe-inspiring sound of Rainbow Falls, an 80-foot waterfall, as it rushes over a natural lava cave into a large pool below. We will enter Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, dubbed Pele's Playground. Well make at stop at the visitors center and drive by Kilauea Iki, a pit crater near the summit, stand at the edge and look into the Crater. Next up is a stop at the Steam Vents to feel the heat coming from the earth below. We will leave the volcanoes behind and make our way to Kona with a stop at Punaluu Bake Shop where youll get to enjoy one of their world-famous malasadas and a stop at the Black Sand Beach where we can look for the Hawaiian Green Sea Turtles basking on the black sand beach. We will head to our resort for the next few days to relax and rejuvenate. This evening, we will a have a Manta Ray Talk and a casual dinner. (B, L, D)
Day 5 Kona at Leisure - Today is yours to enjoy. Have a day relaxing poolside, treat yourself at the spa or join in an optional adventure. For dinner, enjoy a traditional Hawaiian Luau with fabulous food, story telling and traditional Hawaiian dance. (B, D)
Day 6 Relax - Enjoy your time as you choose today and this evening. (B)
Day 7 Maui - Get ready for your short flight to Maui. But we cant leave without first stopping by a coffee plantation for a tour and tasting. Upon arrival in Maui, we will continue our tour through Lahaina Town, once a bustling 19th-century whaling village, now it's known for popular restaurants, boutiques, and galleries, which you will have time to explore. This afternoon well arrive at our Resort, your home on Maui for the next three nights. This evening is yours to enjoy. (B)
Day 8 Discover Maui - Stop and Maui Ocean Center for an interactive tour with their naturalists. Enjoy a phenomenal movie of humpback whales. We will continue to Kula for a great lunch with fantastic views. On our way back to the hotel well stop at a lavender farm. (B)
Day 9 Day at leisure - This morning, take a dip in the ocean or relax poolside with a Mai Tai. Or explore Lahaina town, stroll, shop or enjoy this art filled town. Explore with a Mount Haleakala tour, snorkeling adventure to Lanai Island, Atlantis submarine tour or simply relax poolside or shop in Lahaina town. This afternoon its time for fun and relaxation as our catamaran sails into beautiful Maui's setting sun. Relax and enjoy an open bar and pupus (appetizer) as you embrace another breathtaking Maui sunset. (B, D)
Day 10 Cruise & tour - We say Aloha to the Valley Isle, and we continue our adventure to the Garden Isle. On arrival we will visit the beautiful Kilohana Sugar Plantation and enjoy lunch (on own) at the Manor house. Youll have time to wander the local art galleries before we depart. We then make our way to the Wailua River Cruise, first stopping at the Opaekaa Falls View for a photo and then well take a leisurely cruise on the Wailua River, the longest navigable river in all of Hawaii which includes a stop at the Fern Grotto which highlights the tropical beauty of Kauai and its volcanic past. Day 11 Waimea Canyon & Kokee State Park - Nicknamed the Grand Canyon of the Pacific (thank you Mark Twain) today is your chance to experience the beauty of Waimea Canyon. Well stop at Kokee State Park where you can stroll along the nature trail take in the wonder of this special place. After well make our way to historic Hanapepe Town where youll have time to wander through this quaint town known for its art galleries, charming shops, and eateries. Before heading back well make a stop at Spouting Horn, an ocean blowhole where legend has it a moo (a large lizard) once guarded this coastline. Watch the sun set this evening as you enjoy your last night on the beautiful island of Kauai. (B)
Day 12 Kauai at leisure - Today is yours however you choose. Swim, sunbathe, or take a helicopter tour of this magical island. Your tour director will have suggestions for other excursions and fun activities. This evening well gather for our farewell dinner as we reminisce over the last twelve fun-filled days. (B, D)
Day 13 Depart Kauai - Today we say Aloha O'e (farewell) to beautiful Hawaii! A Hui Hou! (B)
Day 14 Home - Arrive home today with the healthy glow you can only achieve with a Hawaiian escape.
