Day 1 • Washington, DC: Travel with us to our Nation’s Capitol - beautiful Washington, DC. Tour the magnificent National Cathedral and then a visit to the National Mall to see the Vietnam War, Lincoln and Korean War memorials. Enjoy free time to shop and get dinner at Pentagon City mall. Overnight at a DC-area hotel.
Day 2 • History and more: Stop and smell the roses and more this morning at the U.S. Botanic Garden. At the garden you can see rare and endangered plants from around the world as well as the beautiful historic greenhouses. Next, we drop you off at the mall to explore the monuments or the famed Smithsonian Museums. Stop at the World War II and FDR memorials prior to returning to our hotel and dinner on your own in the National Harbor area. (B)
Day 3 • Home: Today we will start the day off visiting Mount Vernon Estate. Here you will have a tou and lunch will be included today!. We will return home tonight with a deeper respect and understanding of American history. (B, L)
