Day 2 • Portland, ME: Take in the scenery as we travel to Ogunquit, ME, for an afternoon lobster cruise along the breathtaking rocky coast. Spend the next two nights in South Portland, Maine. Tonight enjoy a lobster dinner (B, D)
Day 3 • Portland: Our first stop this morning is the Maine Maritime Museum. Located on an active waterfront, the museum includes a large, quirky collection and a historic shipyard. Our next stop is the L.L. Bean Outlet, where you can shop for iconic clothing and outdoor items. Embark on a guided tour of Portland, the state capital, this afternoon. We will see the promenades, the childhood home of Henry Wadsworth Longfellow, the Victoria Mansion, Old Port and Portland Head Light, which was commissioned by George Washington. . (B, D)
Day 4 • Springfield, MA: Visit the home of Stonewall Kitchen specialty products this morning before a stop at When Pigs Fly Bakery, where they bake 12,000 loaves of bread every day. Tonight enjoy yout farewell lobster dinner. (B, D)
Day 5 • Home: Arrive home tonight from our New England escape relaxed and refreshed with stories and goodies to share. (B)
