National Park Treasures

Day 1 • Peru, IL: Today we journey west with a drive around the University of Notre Dame en route to overnight near Peru/Moline Il area.

Day 2 • Kearney, NE: The gentle rolling farmlands of Iowa greet us before stops at the state capitols of Iowa and Nebraska. We overnight in Kearney. (B, L)

Day 3 • Rock Springs, WY: Today’s agenda includes a visit to the Great Platte River Archway Monument. We also stop at the Lincoln Monument near Laramie. Overnight in Rock Springs. (B)

Day 4 • Jackson, WY: Our day includes views of the vast Wyoming range before arrival in Jackson. After some free time, embark on a covered wagon adventure to our dinner campsite for a robust meal and western-style entertainment. (B, D)

Day 5 • Yellowstone National Park: View the Majestic Peaks of the Grand Tetons as we travel to Yellowstone National Park for a guided tour. Our hotel is in the West Yellowstone area tonight. (B)

Day 6 • Yellowstone: Visit the Yellowstone Imax Theater. You will have free time for lunch and shopping prior to us spending the night in the Kalispell, MT area. (B)

Day 7 • Glacier National Park: An incredible day awaits us as we experience the unsurpassed vistas of Glacier National Park, touring on the historic jammers. Enjoy the outstanding scenic route on Going-to-the-Sun Road prior to arrival in Helena, MT for overnight. (B, D)

Day 8 • Helena, MT: Tour beautiful Helena, and get a look at landmarks such as the dramatic Cathedral of St. Helana, the Old Fire Tower, the State Capitol and more! This afternoon, experience the Gates of the Mountains tour. Overnight near Belgrade, MT. (B, D)

Day 9 • The Black Hills: After a morning of travel, we visit Little Bighorn Battlefield National Monument outside Billings, MT. Then, pass through the Bighorn Mountains in the Black Hills. We overnight near Spearfish, SD where dinner is included. (B, L, D)

Day 10 • Custer, SD: Visit Dinosaur Park this morning before we board the vintage steam locomotive 1880 Train between Hill City and Keystone. Tour Mt. Rushmore and the Crazy Horse Memorial in South Dakota, and enjoy dinner with Crazy Horse at Laughing Waters Restaurant. We overnight in Custer, SD. (B, BL, D)

Day 11 • Mitchell, SD: We visit famous Wall Drug today and enter Badlands National Park to see colorful hills, ridges, and ravines - all created naturally by weathering and erosion. Later, visit Prairie Homestead, home of the world’s only white prairie dog town. We will stop for a photo at the majestic statue called Dignity, which honors the Sioux Nation before overnighting in Mitchell, SD. (B)

Day 12 • Corn Palace: Visit the unique Corn Palace in Mitchell, SD before traveling to La Crosse, WI near the banks of the Mississippi River. (B)

Day 13 • Wisconsin Dells: Today’s highlights include a boat ride on the scenic Wisconsin River in Wisconsin Dells. We travel to Hammond, IN, for overnight and enjoy our farewell dinner. (B, L, D)

Day 14 • Home: Today we travel across Ohio reminiscing about our wonderful trip before an evening arrival home. (B)
