Riverboat Rambling
Day 1 • Springfield, IL: Enjoy a scenic day as we travel to the hometown of Abraham Lincoln - lovely Springfield, IL, for overnight.
Day 2 • Mark Twain: Travel to the hometown of Mark Twain, enjoying a trolley tour of downtown Hannibal and the Mark Twain Boyhood Home & Museum. Tonight, we dine aboard the Mark Twain Riverboat* for a memorable Mississippi River cruise on this authentic paddlewheeler. (B, D)
Day 3 • The Mighty Mississippi: We arrive this morning at the Jefferson National Expansion Memorial and Gateway Arch in St. Louis, MO. Then enjoy a luncheon cruise on the Mississippi River* before a tour and brew at the Budweiser Brewery. (B, BL)
Day 4 • Louisville, KY: Travel to Louisville and board the Belle of Louisville* for a lovely narrated cruise on the Ohio River. Overnight in Louisville. (B, D)
Day 5 • Home: On our way home, enjoy a sweet treat and tour at Schimpff’s Confectionery in Jeffersonville, IN. Arrive home tonight understanding Mark Twain’s great love of the Rivers. (B)
