Day 2 • Chattanooga: Experience the beauty of the soaring rock formations at Rock City. Then, take a ride on the Lookout Mountain Incline Railway - America’s most amazing mile. You’re on your own this evening to rest or explore Chattanooga. (B, L )
Day 3 • R and Falls: The vintage cars of the Tennessee Valley Railroad takes us over bridges and through a pre-civil war tunnel. Discover the hidden beauty of Ruby Falls inside Lookout Mountain on a guided Cave Walk to the waterfall. Descend 260 feet by glass-front elevator into the mountain and explore the cavern trail to the tallest and deepest cave waterfall open to the public in the United States. Learn the story behind the accidental discovery of the cavern, see stunning rock formations, and experience the thundering waterfall! Tonight, you will be delighted by dinner included at the Mayor's Mansion Inn followed by a sunset cruise on the Southern Belle. (B, L, D)
Day 4 • Smoky Mountains: Travel along the Tuckasegee River in western North Carolina aboard the Great Smoky Mountains Railroad. Overnight near Asheville, NC. (B, L, D)
Day 5 • Home: We depart for home with fond memories of the traditional southern charm of our Tennessee mountain vacation. (B)
