Vermont Farm and Gardens
Day 1 • The Pointe: The beautiful Green Mountains of Vermont are calling! Enjoy a drive through lovely upstate New York for evening arrival at The Pointe at Castle Hill Resort and Spa, our home for the next 4 nights. (D)
Day 2 • Farming: Learn all about the agricultural life at Billings Farm & Museum, a fully-operational dairy farm and rural heritage museum. Enjoy free time for lunch and shopping in the charming town of Woodstock. Snap a photo or two at Quechee Gorge, Vermont’s "Little Grand Canyon." (B, D)
Day 3 • Green Mountain Fun: Our first top today is the Sugar Shack and its Rockwell Exhibit in Arlington. Learn about maple sugaring and the legacy left here by artist Norman Rockwell. Later enjoy a fabulous tour and riding show at Friesians of Majesty, a unique experience with these unique horses. Enjoy dinner tonight included. (B, D)
Day 4 • New Hampshire: Sample local meat and cheese at the Vermont Country Store prior to a cruise and lunch on Lake Sunapee in New Hampshire, known for its lighthouses and fishing. End the day with the beauty and tranquility of The Fells Historic Estate & Gardens, Newbury, NH. A farewell dinner is included tonight. (B, L, D)
Day 5 • Home: Travel home today, enriched from our relaxing Vermont getaway. (B)
