Day 3 • Choose your own adventure: This morning, you have four options to choose from (must reserve at time of booking. Seats are limited for each tour).
Day 3 options:

Tour #1 – Enjoy a visit to Billy Graham’s Training Center at the Cove.  Today you will    enjoy a guided tour of the Training Center including the Eckard Chapel Room, Pictorial Displays, the Chatlos Memorial Chapel, and the Prayer Room.  Adjacent to the Chatlos Memorial Chapel is Ruth’s Prayer Garden, designed to offer a peaceful place for prayer and meditation amid the natural beauty and serenity of The Cove.  This Garden honors the memory of Ruth Bell Graham—a faithful woman of prayer—the 1.5-acre garden contains more than 80 species of garden plants, including a mix of native plants, trees, shrubs, perennials, and 15 varieties of roses. The upper woodland garden is planted in large sweeps of woodland shrubs and perennials, with large open areas of ground cover. The lower paths around the chapel walk contain a mix of perennials and roses planted in the English style of perennial gardening. After your tour concludes, you will enjoy lunch on your own in the area.

Tour #2 – Enjoy a visit to the Asheville Farmer’s Market which sits on a thirty-six-acre site with a beautiful panoramic view of the mountains, and the Biltmore Estate. The market features displays of high quality fruits and vegetables, mountain crafts, jams, jellies, preserves, sourwood honey, fresh baked breads, cookies and dozens of other farm fresh items. Inside you will also find a deli that offers sandwiches and ice cream. You can enjoy lunch on your own here or at the ever-popular Moose Café next door.  After leaving the Farmer’s Market you will head over to Biltmore Village. Biltmore Village is home to more than 40 shops and 10 cafes and restaurants. The Cathedral of All Souls is a Romanesque Revival landmark, while stuccoed cottages contain jewelry stores, galleries, and upscale boutiques. Farm-to-table restaurants, cafes, and craft breweries dot the area.

Tour #3 – Enjoy a self-guided tour of the Sierra Nevada Brewery and Taproom. The upstairs Visitor Corridor includes a raised mezzanine for bird’s-eye views of the copper-clad brewhouse, a real-time look at fermenting beer and a visit to the warehouse and packaging hall.  The Sierra Nevada Brewery is tucked into the forest, so make the most of this getaway.  Enjoy lunch on your own in the Taproom where you can choose from 23 beers on tap and sample Southern inspired small plates such as duck fat fries and shrimp and grits.  After lunch you might choose to sit fireside on the back porch or explore the nature trail.

Tour #4 – Meet your local guide for a guided three-hour city tour of Asheville including a visit to the Mast General Store, Grove Arcade, Basilica of St. Lawrence, and more.  After your tour, you will enjoy free time for shopping and lunch on your own at the Grove Arcade.  Grove Arcade offers the quintessential Asheville shopping experience, embodying the city’s character through unique and quality crafts and Restaurant Row on Page Avenue takes you around the World with some of Asheville’s most eclectic dining options all under one roof.

After some afternoon R&R at your hotel, take in a southern barbecue dinner & show hosted by the Whitewater Bluegrass Company Band at the Blue Ridge Mountain Opry. (B, D)

Day 4 • Home: Bid a fond farewell to the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina as we head home today after our wonderful celebration vacation!
